INSTITUCIONAL
The group of Samaritans is a non-governmental, non-profit since 1978 and works to defend the rights of children and adolescents. The work is developed in line with the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN, 1989), the Brazilian Federal Constitution (1988) and the Statute of Children and Adolescents (1990).
The Organization has two task forces called operating units, the first “Children’s House teacher Siqueira” headquarters founded in 1978, the second “Best Large Project Roça” started in 2004.
Mission:
To assist in socio-educational support system in open mode, children and adolescents in personal and / or social priority of the municipality of Sabara risk through support family and community partner program, workshops and training its agents aiming at social promotion of human dignity.
Vision:
Building a better society through the continuation of a serious and responsible work, to ensure that children and adolescents (who need support) to reach their full potential, turning them into ethical, principled and morally upright citizens.
